Hiya, quick question. In the character creation rules, it says that each skill is based off of an attribute, and that we're supposed to multiply the cost for the skill by a modifier based on that attribute.
"Each skill will have a build cost and is under one of the following attribute. Depending on your attribute rating there will be a multiplier. 1 is base cost, 2 has a 1.5 multiplier and 3 has a times 2 multiplier. All skills are either under an attribute of open skill. Open skills are base cost to all."
So, for example, Shatter is a strength skill for 6 build. So, if I have a 1 strength, this costs 6 build, if I have a 2 strength, this costs 9 build, and if I have a 3 strength this costs 12 build? It seems like the stronger I am the harder it is to shatter a weapon? Am I reading this wrong?
Also should we round fractions up or down for build costs once multiplied?

Nah it doesnt meen the stronger you are the harder it is. the numbers have nothing to do with it other then a multiplier. I knew I should of swapped it around so higher was better but yea.
Its round up.
And there are abilities you will get depending on what lvl you are in a class. If you want to multiclass you have to start dedicating build to another class. Once you get 10 build spent in that clas you get the lvl 1 Ability and then after that you need to split your build cost in half between the two class's. In between events we will break it down and tell you (You get 2 build for warrior/2 build for bard) Ect.

Magic system
Then Each player will start out with 20 build and will be considered level one. Once they reach 30 build they will be level two. Caster levels are the same.
You cannot cast above your caster lvl.
You cast off a mana pool lvl 1-2 spells cost 1, 3,4 cost 2, 5.6 cost 3, and after that they go up by 1 IE, 7 =4, 8=5 9=6, 10=7
You buy mana from a school. IE Spirit mana. Purchase spirit mana x5 10 build I now have 5 mana. Make sence?

OK, I get it. So for attributes you HAVE to distribute 10 points, but you want to keep the attributes low. A warrior with a strength of 1 is actually stronger then a warrior with a strength of 3.
For magic... let me see if I get this right. Until you get up to 30 build, you can learn, but not cast spells higher then level 1. For every purchase of a ___ Magic skill (like Celestial Magic, or Sovereign Magic, etc) you gain a mana. (I don't see Spirit Mana as a skill, so I'm assuming Spirit Magic is the same thing - if not let me know).
If that is right then I think I have a handle on it.
As for the crossclass thing, so you don't need to actually spend build on a class, you just declare your build as being from a certain class? So with the 20 build you have to start, could you have 10 of it in one class, and 10 in the other?

Yes this is right. And
A second class is 10 build. After you buy it you get the lvl 1 ability and from whatever lvl you are in the other class it then starts to work up both class's equal.
for example
Your a lvl 3 fighter you spend 10 build to buy bard your now a lvl 3 fighter and lvl 1 bard. The next 10 build you receive does not lvl you it gives half a lvl to each. at lvl 6 fighter you get special ability. but your bard lvl is 4.
